Our Mission

Our mission is to equip healthcare professionals and non-medics working in the health domain across Africa and beyond with the skills they need to thrive in the future of digital health. Medics In Tech aims to support healthcare professionals and undergraduate students and help them become digital health literates, adopters, advocates, and innovators by providing cutting-edge digital health education, collaborative initiatives, and support. We also leverage the media to support digital health innovations and innovators.

Our Focus Areas

Digital Health Skills Capacity Building: We enhance the digital health skills of healthcare professionals and students through foundational and advanced courses, interactive webinars, personalized mentorship, career guidance in AI and Data Literacy, plus our annual Digital Health Entrepreneurship 101 Series.
Digital Health Advocacy & Awareness: We lead the conversation on digital health by offering a thought leadership podcast, delivering curated HealthTech news, and actively promoting African digital health solutions and startups.
Digital Health Research: We are committed to advancing digital health by conducting and supporting innovative research and by equipping the next generation of researchers with essential computational and digital health research competencies..
